What Are C Esters?

C Esters are Vitamin C chemically joined with a fatty acid. This union helps protect the delicate, unstable Vitamin C and realizes Vitamin C’s full potential as an anti-aging beauty agent. Some C Esters have been used for many years, but now some new Esters, which are more reliable and stable than plain Ascorbic Acid, represent the next generation of topical Vitamin C.  We are using four of these next generation C Esters in our C essentials line: Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Ascorbyl Palmitate and Potassium Ascorbyl Phosphate.

The new C Esters are shown to exert greater activity in in-vitro testing. They act like a prizefighter against free radicals which can prematurely age the skin. C Esters help encourage and heighten skin’s brightness for a younger appearance.
